A continuous silk kumihimo braid coiled round and through hand-turned brass beads. This piece was influenced by the Hawaiian necklace with its coils of plaited human hair.

Description
A selection of silk kumihimo braids with beads added during the braiding process. A row of black onyx beads form the centre of the necklace. The ends are crocheted and fasten with an antique button.
